The problem

When your animal is sick, or you need somewhere for it to stay while you travel, search results are a mix of ads, outdated listings and places that may not be licensed at all. The authoritative answer already exists — Singapore’s Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) publishes a register of every licensed veterinary centre and pet boarding facility — but it is a registry, not something you can search by “closest to me and open right now”.

What we built

mypawmap takes both AVS registers and turns them into a fast, map-first directory:

• All 125 licensed veterinary centres and 109 licensed boarding facilities, so nothing is left out and nothing unlicensed gets in.
• Search by name, street or postal code, or jump straight to the nearest clinic.
• Practical filters — open now, open 24 hours, emergency walk-ins, house calls, teleconsults, and which animals a clinic or boarder will take.
• An honest data trail. Each register keeps its own “as of” date on the site and is re-checked every month, with links back to the official source.

How it runs

The site is built with Next.js and hosted on Netlify, with maps from Singapore’s OneMap. Pages carry schema.org structured data and Open Graph previews, so the directories are easy for search engines and link previews to understand.

What it shows

mypawmap is a small product done end to end: finding a real gap, cleaning up public data into something people can use, and shipping and running it in production. That is the kind of work Jojo Labs does for clients.
